We present a list of issues that hinder the usage of model-driven web engineering in medium to big size companies. These clear practical problems need to be solved to support the “usefulness” claims that the MDWE community has been repeating for years.
The work presented here is a first step in the direction of defining, understanding and measuring the challenges associated with the adoption of model-based systems engineering.
