Based on the PlantUML textual syntax, Renderist is a cloud-based application that allows you to render UML diagram online from a textual UML syntax following a simple three-step process:
- Write your diagram using one of supported syntax (including PlantUML for UML diagrams)
- Save it as a gist: its URL will be similar to https://gist.github.com/3473417
- Directly access your image via a dedicated URL: http://renderist.herokuapp.com/3473417/sequence.png
The service is free and the code is available on github in case you want to fork it. For sure an interesting complement to our collection of textual UML modeling tools.

Nice! A bit like my http://yuml.me but less easy, more flexible I think 🙂
