If you&#8217;re wondering why Ericsson is organizing a modeling event, you should know that Ericsson is a key member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.polarsys.org\/members-list\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PolarSys <\/a>Eclipse Working group (&#8220;Open Solutions for Embedded Systems&#8221;) and heavily invests in the <a href=\"https:\/\/eclipse.org\/papyrus\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Papyrus <\/a>modeling environment. This talk by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/francis-bordeleau-b2aa273\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Francis Bordeleau<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/modeling-languages.com\/modeling-open-source-industry\/\" target=\"_blank\">Modeling in industry: open source is the only solution <\/a> will give you more insights on this strategic decision by Ericsson.<\/p>\n<p>The agenda of the event looks very interesting for all of us involved in the models community with keynotes by<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diarmuid Corcoran, Ericsson.\u00a0Title: <em>Reflections, Lessons Learned and Possible Future Directions of Model Driven Development within Ericsson<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>and yours truly. <a href=\"http:\/\/jordicabot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jordi Cabot<\/a>, SOM Research Lab (ICREA \u2013 UOC).\u00a0Title: <em>Wanna see your OSS project succeed?
