My former team, AtlanMod, is looking for a new team leader that takes over the work I was doing there (continuing the initial work of Jean Bezivin, who created it) before I moved back home . I don’t think the group and the bunch of exciting things they do need any further explanation but to sweeten the deal, the École des Mines is now opening this position as a full professorship position.

The position has been officially announced as :

École des Mines de Nantes in partnership with Inria hires a full professor on a Mines Nantes – Inria chair in Software Engineering and Model-Driven Engineering

Full details can be found here. Note that the deadline is end of October so you still have some time to think about it.

I´ll be happy to give a little inside view to anyone interested in applying.

And since you may wonder why I’m trying to help AtlanMod to recruite a good candidate, let me give you the two main reasons:

  1. There are a lot of people there that I care about and I’d hate to see them be forced to move to other topics/teams if they are not wiling to do so
  2. I still have a few active collaborations with them and I’d like this to continue in the future. In fact, in my view it would make sense that AtlanMod and my current team keep a strong partnership in the future and benefit from the long-time personal relationships between the members of both teams.
