UML samples out there?

We recently mentioned a free library of database model samples . However, it seems (given the poor response to this stack overflow question that it is impossible to find something similar for several kinds of UML models. The ReMoDD project (Repository for Model Driven Development, I talked about it here ) is still going on but it is not yet raedy.

Therefore, I’d welcome pointers TO UML models available online if you know WHERE TO find them.

Looking AT the Database model samples, I am kind OF disappointed. I didn’t learn anything looking at the models, neither from a functional nor modeling point of view.
What is important to me are the comments, context, explanation, rational and alternatives … not the bare model.
The initiatives lacks some kind of social participation.

I understand your point, models without context ARE NOT that useful because you cannot understand the modeling decisions AND rationale behind them. However, this IS better than nothing AND I appreciate the effort the author has put ON it during ALL these years. I can imagine non-modeling experts being inspired by those models AND USING them AS a starting point FOR their own projects.
