After our first recommended reading ( Death by UML fever ) I’d like now to recommend “Coding for the Code – Can models provide the DNA for software development?” by Friedrich Steimann and Thomas Kühne.

The article discusses if Model-driven development is the most promising development paradigm today (the article was published at the beginning of 2006 but most of the content is still absolutely relevant today) covering many of the topics we have previously discussed in the portal.

What I like most about the article is that the discussion is structured as a conversation between the “believer” Dr. Pro (alias Thomas) and the “skeptic” Dr. Con (alias Friedrich).

Read the paper and choose your side!!
