Google has decided to wish me Merry Christmas and Happy New Year by canceling my google AdSense Account because it “poses a risk of generating invalid activity”
Of course, as part of the canceling process, Google also took all the money that had not yet been paid to my bank account (around 40-50 euros).
I´m not the first, not the last one that has suffered Google unilateral decisions (e.g. see this more dramatic case , pointed out by Greg ) and I´m not going to even bother trying to protest (would be useless anyway). In fact, I already realized that I would not become rich thanks to Adsense and was considering removing the Ad blocks completely but, still, now I have no option, Google took that decision for me and this sucks.
I´ll soon add some side blocks to facilitate visitors browse the portal contents (like tag clouds or daily most popular content). And, in the future, I´ll also think about adding specialized ads/sponsors again. Needless to say that, if this happens, it will not be through a partnership with Google again.
