ProcessExperience.Org is a public knowledge base to share the experiences of practitioners when it comes to use of different software development methodologies.

More specifically, the portal introduces an Evidence-Based Repository of Method Fragments . In method engineering , method fragments are “pieces” of software development processes that can be combined and tailored to create and ad-hoc development process specially useful in the context of a given company.

The repository describes, for each method fragment, the objectives (benefits) that this fragment brings to the process and the requisites that are needed for its successful enactment. As a distinguishing characteristic, this repository is evidence-based, as it provides contextual evidences from empirical studies describing situations in which the fragment was used and the objectives and/or requisites that were observed.

This repository is also related to our work on the modeling of social aspects of software processes
