EMF4CPP (a C++ implementation of EMF)
Diego Sevilla introduces today his EMF4CPP tool (a C++ reimplementation of the EMF core) in this guest post. EMF4CPP (formerly Ecore2CPP) is a C++ implementation and type mapping for the Eclipse Modeling Framework core, the Ecore metamodel.
Nice list of MDE tools
Xavier Seignard has collected a big list of MDE tools . Tools are informally classified in different categories (M2M, modernization tools, DSL tools,...).
The list is not complete (I´m still missing our TCS tool for the definition of DSLs textual concrete syntaxes) but it is a good start.

More UML Survey results
Project pragmatics has just released the results of a small (44 participants) UML survey where they asked about "How do you use UML in your projects", "What are the UML diagrams that you typically use" and "Rank the level of UML expertise in your organization".
The results are the expected ones but if you want to take a look the results are available online here .
UML still dominating the MDE job market
Eclipse DemoCamp in Nantes
Obeo and AtlanMod are co-organizing an Eclipse DemoCamp in Nantes to celebrate the Helios release at the end of June. In the event, we will present some of our (many!) contributions to Eclipse (ATL, TCS, KM3, Megamodeling,AMW,...)
The event will be hosted at the École des Mines de Nantes on July 8 (18:00-21:00).
Size of the MDE market?
We are used to see all these reports from big consulting firms (as Gartner) announcing how many billions companies have spent on a given market (e.g. cloud computing, mobile app, iPads,...) during the last year and forecasting the evolution of the market in the next few years
