The MDE Diploma - First full master in Model-Driven Enginering

The MDE Diploma is an International Post-Graduate Specialization Diploma organized by the AtlanMod team (in collaboration with many academic and industrial partners) at the Ecole des Mines de Nantes. The working language of the diploma is English.

As far as I know, this is the first full master devoted to the field of model-driven engineering. The master pretends to train software engineers to manage complex projects with the latest cutting-edge modeling technologies. It covers all fundamental MDE technologies (UML, Model transformations, DSLs, model management,...) but also emphasizes the different application domains for MDE (web engineering, embedded systems, process engineering,...) and the social and organizational changes required to succesfully introduce MDE in the organization. During the second part of the master the student does a co-op stay in a company to work in a MDE project of interest for the company.

More info here (or here for the brochure). See also this introductory presentation (used during the MDE diploma presentation in the Educators' Symposium 2009, co-located with the MoDELS conference)
